Setting up a deferred revenue interface

  1. Access SunSystems.
  2. Specify RRI in the search field and select Deferred Revenue Interface (RRI).
  3. Select the Sales Transaction Type and click OK.
  4. In the information dialog box, click Yes.
  5. Specify this information:
    Sales Transaction Type
    Specify transaction sales type.
    Ledger Interface Definition Code
    Specify the Ledger Interface Definition Code for deferred revenue posting.
    Prorate Method Base
    Select the Prorate Method used to calculate partial periods for the base amount being posted to the ledger for deferred revenue.
    Prorate Method Transaction
    Select the Prorate Method used to calculate partial periods for the transaction amount being posted to the ledger for deferred revenue.
    Prorate Method Memo
    Select the Prorate Method used to calculate partial periods for the reporting or second base amount being posted to the ledger for deferred revenue.
    Prorate Method Reporting
    Select the Prorate Method used to calculate partial periods for the memo amount being posted to the ledger for deferred revenue.
    Period Offset

    Specify a number from 1 to 11 to use as an offset.
