Cloning formats
You can copy formats from within Format Designer. In Transfer Desk, open an import profile and click in Source Data Format, to open Format Designer.
In Format Designer, select an existing format, and select . The New Format Name dialog is displayed.
Specify a name for the new format and click .
Note: The button on the New
Format Name dialog is not enabled until you start typing in the
Name field. If the name
you specify is not unique, a red exclamation mark prompts you to enter a different name.
New formats created from an existing format using the Clone Format function can then be amended to be variants of the original.
