Importing the configuration

You can import profiles, automations, formats, transformations, filters, and lookup tables, to build a new database based on the data and settings configured by another business unit or user.

To import configuration information:

  1. From the main SunSystems menu, select TRD.
  2. Select Configuration Import from the Configuration menu.
  3. Click the browse icon and select the configuration file to import.
    Note: The file must be xml format.
The Configuration Import Results window displays how many items are successfully imported. The results are split into categories: formats, filters, consolidations, transformations, lookup tables, profiles, and automations.

The results are saved in a log file, RepositoryImportLog-<datetimestamp> file which is saved to the Configuration directory in the SunSystems Cloud storage.
