Error handling

In Automation Designer you can control how errors are handled. You can change parameters within the profiles. You can specify if an automation should fail, if one of the profiles fails.

  1. Select TRD from the main SunSystems window to open Transfer Desk.
  2. Expand the Automations list, and select an automation.
  3. In Automation Designer, click Edit.
  4. Select Fail on Error for the automation to fail if one profile fails.
  5. Select Ignore if Invalid for the automation to ignore a failed profile, and to continue processing.
    Note: Selecting Ignore if Invalid may cause issues with data dependency if the running order of your profiles is important.
  6. Click Save to save your changes.
