Account Balance Comparison

Use this widget to compare financial balances between pairs of accounts, with a visual style to show the difference.

Prerequisites to using this widget are:

  1. Data must be generated using Ledger Balance Configuration (LBC) for the business units required.
  2. A corresponding SunSystems reporting data model must be generated for each business unit required.
  1. Select Add Widgets > Account Balance Comparison and click the add button.
  2. Specify this information:
    Business Unit
    Specify the business unit.
    Amount Type
    Select Base or Reporting.
    Account One
    Specify account one, and select a highlight colour for this field from the drop-down menu. This setting is required.
    Account One Period
    Define an accounting period for account one.
    Account Two
    Specify account two, and select a highlight colour for this field from the drop-down menu. This setting is required.
    Account Two Period
    Define an accounting period for account two.
  3. Click OK to save your changes.
