Action buttons
Most SunSystems forms contain buttons which allow you to perform simple tasks by clicking the buttons on the form. The most common of these buttons are and , which you can use to save or abandon changes.
Many static data setup forms include the following actions buttons:

| OK | Confirms an action. |
| Cancel | Cancels an action. |
| Clear Screen | Removes all the information from the current form. |
| Amend | Allows you to amend a record. |
| Insert | Allows you to create a new record Note: After you have inserted a new record in a static data setup
form it is advisable to select one of the following from the menu: , or . If you do not do this you may find that your records
are out of Sequence when using the navigation buttons or the Query button.

| Delete | Deletes the currently displayed or selected record. |
| Exit | Closes the form and returns to the SunSystems menu panel. |
There are many additional predefined action buttons which are function dependent. Form Designer allows you to choose which action buttons you would like to have on a form. Form Designer is available in the SunSystems Windows client only.
