SunSystems API overview
The API Gateway serves as a central point for all Infor products in MT cloud for data
access that does not use BODs. The gateway brings consistency to how Infor product APIs are
secured, documented and consumed with a common interface and technology.
APIs can be publicly exposed to other products in the cloud, which opens up the possibility of cloud-to-cloud integrations with both Infor and third-party products. Applications written using generic API Gateway require little input.
Note: SunSystems API Gateway, within
the business object APIs set, use the same underlying API as within SunSystems Reporting (Query API). Consequently, to prevent API calls from
returning errors, you must synchronize report models after each maintenance upgrade in MT
cloud.
SSC
SSC is used with APIs. Large journals are sent in SSC Payloads (XML) and consumed via the SOAP API. APIs drop large payloads into a storage folder after which SSC consumes using SOAP.
