Deleting archive data

Use Archive to delete all archived data.

Note: You must be a member of the Security Administrators group to delete audit data, and a member of the Storage Administrators group to view the storage location of the log file.

Archive data is stored in the security database.

  1. To open Audit Archive in Security, select Audit > Archive.
  2. Select an archive date that is before today.
    All archived data, up to and including the specified date, will be deleted.
  3. Select Delete to delete all archived audit data before the selected date.
  4. Click Run Job. A message indicates that the archived data has been successfully deleted.
