Configuring OAuth2 authentication

With the OAuth2 authentication you can enable more secure way to send emails.

This procedure is performed by the Infor Cloud team. To enable OAuth2 authentication, go to Infor Concierge at https://concierge.infor.com/ and create a support incident.
  1. Access Infor CloudSuite Portal.
  2. Select Multi Tenant > Customers.
  3. Click Customer Domains from the Show Related menu.
  4. Click Add Domain.
  5. Specfiy domain's name in the Domain field and click Save.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click the link to your domain from the Name column.
  8. Click Mark as Success and then click Yes.
  9. Select Multi Tenant > Customer Environement.
  10. Specify your tenant's name in the search field and click Search.
  11. Select the line with SUN in the Product column.
  12. Click SMTP Settings from the Show Related menu.
  13. Select the line with Field in the Type Column.
  14. Click the + button to add and configure the Reporting entity.
    1. In the Details tab, specify this information:
      • Type: select Reporting
      • Host: smtp.office365.com
      • Port: 587
      • User: your username
      • Password: your password
      • From Email: sender's email
      • From Display Name: your name displayed in the email
      • Use SSL: clear
      • Start TLS: select
    2. In the Properties tab, specify this information:
      • SMTP Provider: select O365
      • OAUTH2 ClientId: specify your OAUTH2 ClientId.
      • OAUTH2 TenantId: specify your OAUTH2 TenantId.
      • OAUTH2 ClientSecret: specify your OAUTH2 ClientSecret.
      • OAUTH2 Scopes: https://outlook.office365.com/.default
    3. Click Save.
  15. Click the + button to add and configure the Connect entity.
    1. In the Details tab, specify this information:
      • Type: select Connect
      • Host: smtp.office365.com
      • Port: 587
      • User: your username
      • Password: your password
      • From Email: sender's email
      • From Display Name: your name displayed in the email
      • Use SSL: clear
      • Start TLS: select
    2. In the Properties tab, specify this information:
      • SMTP Provider: select O365
      • OAUTH2 ClientId: specify your OAUTH2 ClientId.
      • OAUTH2 TenantId: specify your OAUTH2 TenantId.
      • OAUTH2 ClientSecret: specify your OAUTH2 ClientSecret.
      • OAUTH2 Scopes: https://outlook.office365.com/.default
    3. Click Save.
  16. Select Provision > Domains.
  17. Click Get Domains and then Send Domains.
  18. Click the SMTP tab, and then click Send SMTP.
