Setting up Purchase Types (PTS) - Costing

  1. Specify this information:
    Prevent Cost Updt At Invoicing
    Check this check box to prevent costing being carried out at the Invoice Entry, Matching and Confirmation stages. This prevents any different amounts entered on an invoice from updating the latest and actual costs of receipts associated with this invoice.
    Earliest Latest Cost
    The earliest purchasing stage to be used to update the latest cost for Inventory items.
    Earliest Service Latest Cost
    The earliest purchasing stage to be used to update the latest cost for service items.
    Earliest Weighted Average Cost
    The earliest purchasing stage to be used to update the weighted average cost for Inventory items.
    Earliest Svc Weighted Avg Cost
    The earliest purchasing stage to be used to update the weighted average cost for service items.
