Editing advanced filter details

The Edit Advanced Filter Details dialog can be accessed using the Advanced button on the Create New Filter and Edit Filter Details dialogs.

  1. Specify this information:
    Show Totals as well as Details
    This option allows you to view the summary of a filter as well as the details if you select Actions > Explode All when a filter is run.
    Show Common Columns
    This option allows you to see any columns where all the data in the underlying rows is the same if you choose to summarize data within a filter at any time. If this option is not selected, columns which cannot be summarized are shown as spaces.
    Note: Selecting this option slows the query somewhat.
    Display Single Level Hierarchy
    This option changes the default behavior of the implode/explode actions when the filter is run. Implode all shows the highest level of summary and explode all displays the line details. Singular implodes or explodes display the current level only that is, do not display the level imploded or exploded from.
    Prompt to Save
    This option enables you to save all selected data within a saved set, a collection of Ledger Transactions which have the same saved set number.
    Note: This option is only available for the filter type Financials Inquiry (SALQ) and Ledger Inquiry - Archive (SALQA).
