Performing a Journal Inquiry

Journal Inquiry (JNQ) allows you to display a range of posted journal transactions. This inquiry uses a predefined control desk and filter.

You can print selected transactions on the Ledger Inquiry report.

  1. Select Journal Inquiry (JNQ) from SunSystems to display the Journal Inquiry selection form.
  2. Enter the selection details. A transaction must meet all of the selection criteria to be displayed.
  3. Click OK to extract the journal transaction details.
  4. The transactions appear on the Financials - Journal Inquiry window.
  5. Double click on a field to drill down to the related details, if they are available.
