  • Fiscal Reports - Libri Bollati

    An Italian statutory report, usually at transaction level, showing daily ledger activity. An example is the Libro Giornale (q.v.).

  • Definitive Request

    A field in Daybook Listing. When set to Yes, provisional transactions are posted as permanent transactions. In Daybook Listing they are also numbered when they are permanently posted to the ledger.

  • Final Print

    A field in the document format reporting dialog which is used by Tax Reporting. If this option is set, provisional postings included on the report are changed to permanent postings. If transaction sequence numbers are required on hard posting only, these numbers are also assigned at this stage.

  • IVA Reports

    Italian value added tax reports.

  • Libro Giornale

    The statutory report which shows daily transaction activity. Transactions must be shown in ascending registration date and entry sequence.

  • Prima Nota

    The Italian phrase for a daybook, regarded as a provisional or rough ledger. Literally, the ledger in which a transaction is first recorded. This is a book of prime entry.

  • Protocollo

    An incremental number, generated without gaps in the sequence, applied during the registration of provisional transactions i.e. to the Prima Nota. Protocollo must be used for sales, purchases, and credit notes, and can additionally be used for other transactions which can be grouped as required. For sales transactions, invoice number may double as protocollo number, or there may be two distinct sequences.

  • Registration Date

    The date on which a transaction is entered as a provisional transaction, i.e. registered to the Prima Nota. This may be the actual entry date, or transactions may be grouped to a weekly, ten-day, or even monthly Registration Date.

  • Registration Details

    The details that must be recorded against each provisional, Prima Nota, transaction. These consist of a registration (entry) date and, typically, an incremental protocollo number which, for sales and purchases, is sometimes prefixed with a code.

  • Provisional Posting Function

    The SunSystems   function that equates with Prima Nota accounting. You can post a transaction as provisional and then change it to a permanent posting at a later stage.

  • Statutory Reports

    In the context of rough book processing, statutory reports are those reports produced by the functions Daybook Listing, and Tax Reporting.
