Analysis mapping to Ledger Setup (ANM)
-
Specify this information:
- Business Definition Type
- This identifies the transaction type for which the mappings
are used. The following types are available depending on your serialization:
- Inventory: Refers to ledger postings from Movement Orders. An analysis mapping of this type only operates on ledger postings that have the Ledger Interface Value Type defined as Transaction Values in Ledger Interface (LIS).
- Sales Orders: Refers to ledger postings from Sales Orders. An analysis mapping of this type only operates on ledger postings that have the Ledger Interface Value Type defined as Transaction Values in Ledger Interface (LIS).
- Purchase Orders: Refers to ledger postings from Purchase Orders. An analysis mapping of this type only operates on ledger postings that have the Ledger Interface Value Type defined as Transaction Values in Ledger Interface (LIS).
- Purchase Invoices: Refers to ledger postings from Purchase Invoices. An analysis mapping of this type only operates on ledger postings that have the Ledger Interface Value Type defined as Transaction Values in Ledger Interface (LIS).
- Issues: Refers to ledger postings from any transaction that issues stock, for example, Sales Orders, Movement Orders of the type issue or transfer, and Purchase Return Notes. An analysis mapping of this type only operates on ledger postings that have the Ledger Interface Value Type defined as Inventory Costs in Ledger Interface (LIS).
- Receipts: Refers to ledger postings from any transaction that receives stock, for example, Purchase Orders/Receipt Notes, Movement Orders of the type receipt or transfer, and Purchase Return Notes. An analysis mapping of this type only operates on ledger postings that have the Ledger Interface Value Type defined as Inventory Costs in Ledger Interface (LIS).
- External Sales, External Purchasing, and External Inventory: These three business definition types are used with Business Line Import. Only the following analysis entities can be used with Business Line Import: item code, warehouse code, supplier code, customer code, asset code, item analysis, warehouse analysis, supplier analysis, asset analysis, and customer analysis.
- Ledger Txn Analysis Dimension
- The analysis dimensions assigned to ledger transactions in
Financials are identified automatically. Up to ten analysis dimensions can be
included on a ledger transaction, and are identified using Analysis Structure
(ANS). You can only map Order Fulfilment data into the analysis fields that
have been assigned analysis dimensions.
Note: There is no need to map Order Fulfilment data into every analysis dimension assigned to ledger transactions.
- Analysis Directory Definition
- The source data to be mapped into the ledger transaction analysis dimension. This can be either from the Order Fulfilment transaction line where the data originated, or from a piece of related static data. Use Query to select the type of data required.
- Analysis Dimension
- If the Analysis Directory Definition you choose is an analyzable entity, this is the analysis dimension for the entity which is to be used as the mapping source. For example, if you choose Customer Analysis as the Analysis Directory Definition, you must choose which of the possible ten analysis dimensions that have been assigned to the Customer entity you want to transfer.
