How to set up a date or period in a transaction reference

To set up part of the reference as a date, you must enter the following in the Value field:
  • 1 - century
  • 2 - year
  • 3 - month
  • 4 - day
  • 5 - period
  • 6- year of accounting period.

Example 1

The next transaction reference produced is 10-123456.

Example 2
