Dates and the Login Date
The login date is used as the default date during the current session. For example, when you are asked to enter the date of a transaction, report, and so on. You can accept the default displayed instead of typing in the date.
Changing the date at login
The login date must be in the format displayed in the Login Date form; therefore, you are recommended to select the required date from the calendar provided in the Login Date form. Other date formats can be used elsewhere within SunSystems functions, if they are defined appropriately in Business Unit Setup as described below.
To change this date when logging in, click the
field and use the calendar to select the required date. Click .Date formats
The default date format is dd/mm/yyyy where dd=day, mm=month and yyyy=year.
You can change the date format and the date separator for each of your business units by using Business Unit Setup. Select Business Unit Administration (BUA).
