Transfer Desk overview

Use Transfer Desk to create and run profiles that can transfer data to and from a SunSystems database and to transform the data format as part of the transfer process.

Functionality includes creating and editing profiles, running transfer processes, and managing data files that are stored in a dedicated storage directory in SunSystems Cloud. Run multiple profiles at the same time by adding them to an automation, which can be scheduled to run at specific times.

Use Transfer Desk to create and run profiles that will import or export data from the SunSystems database. Profiles are also used to transform data into a format recognised by SunSystems, or into a different format required by an external program.

You can also specify what happens to the data, for example, to create new records or amend existing records in the SunSystems database.

Note: You must be a member of one of the SSC groups in Security to use Transfer Desk.

Accessing Transfer Desk

From the main SunSystems menu, select TRD.
