Account Credit Limit

This widget displays the current balance of an account, and provides a high level, real time, view of a given customer or supplier account balance against the credit limit set on that account. It uses Ledger Balance Configuration (LBC) to calculate a current balance for the account entered in the widget settings. The credit limit set on that account is then used and the difference between them is shown. This allows you to set visual alerts by setting a threshold value. For example, if the credit limit is nearing being reached, the colour of the account can be set to change from green to red. You can then drill down to the account record from the widget. This widget can also be used to monitor certain account balances at particular times in the financial year, even when no credit limit has been set. Ledger Balance Management (LBM) must be run regularly to keep the balances up-to-date with the ledger.
