Bill of Materials
A bill of materials, or BOM, is a comprehensive list of the components
required to produce an item.
That is, when items are created by combining other items, either in manufacturing, assembly or selling a set of items as a kit.
Bill of Materials Manager (BOM) is a module which allows you to create a bill of materials which can be used for costing and to facilitate the recording of manufacturing, assembly and sales.
SunSystems uses bills of materials as sales kits in Sales Order processing.
