Apply script

Apply Script enables you to apply configuration changes to an existing report model.

  1. Select Tools > Apply Script
  2. Select the script to apply to the live report model.
    You are advised to export the existing model before continuing.
    When the import is complete this message is displayed: 'Update completed with no errors. Please ensure that you re-synchronize Report Models'.
  3. Synchronize business units.
    If an error is found during Apply Script, an error message is written to an error log file for each line in error. The log contains this information:
    • Line number
    • Command: <command>
    • Object Name: <name> or <column name>
    • Fully qualified name.
