Exporting reports

You can export a report from any folder in Report Manager to the desktop or to any local or network location.

The reports can then be imported to another repository, emailed, or moved to other destinations.

To export a report:

  1. From the Action menu, select Export.
    The File Export wizard is opened on the Select Files tab.
  2. Click Add to select the files or folders you wish to export.
  3. Select your items and click OK.
  4. Click Next to continue through the Wizard.
    The Filter Selection tab is opened.
  5. You can select these options:
    • Include Report Definitions, selected by default
    • Include Linked Reports, selected by default
    • Include Report Outputs
    • Include Folder Permissions
  6. Click Next to continue through the Wizard.
    The Confirmation tab is opened where you can view your export selections.
  7. Click Finish.
  8. Browse to and select the required destination for your report or folder and then click Save.
    After the report is placed in the selected location, the dialog is closed.
