Setting up Unit Conversions

For example, a case contains eight bottles. To convert from a case to a bottle, a conversion is set up with a factor of eight. Therefore, when buying or selling three cases, the figure is multiplied by eight to give 24 bottles.

Another example, consultancy services are normally sold in days. However, a customer requires three weeks of consultancy. To convert from the unit weeks into days, a conversion is set up with a factor of five. Therefore, three weeks is multiplied by five to give 15 days.
