Transfer Desk functions

In addition to creating profiles and automations, there are four functions that are accessible within Transfer Desk:
Transformation Designer
Define rules to transform data before it is transferred. For example, a rule may add two fields together and place the result in a new field. Use transformations to map file layouts, for example, from external data to SSML format. Transformations are attached to profiles.
Format Designer
Use to describe the format of external (non-SunSystems) files, to import external data into SunSystems. Format Designer can also be used to convert export data into formats understood by other applications.
Lookup Designer
Create lookup tables to define a list of transformed output values that are dependent on a range of source data. Lookup tables are used by transformations.
Transfer Desk Configuration
A configuration provides a backup of automations, profiles, formats, transformations, filters and lookup tables and provides other business units or users with the files and settings you have set up in Transfer Desk.
Configurations can be exported, imported, or cleared down.
