Using forms

SunSystems forms provide access to the SunSystems functions. The forms allow you to enter, amend and view records/data.

SunSystems includes more than 500 forms for your use. Forms can be amended or more forms can be created using Form Designer.

You can change the default form size. From the Tools menu select Options. Select the Forms subcategory. In the Form Scale field, enter an alternative value to alter the size that is displayed in SunSystems.

SunSystems forms display data/records in one of three basic styles, depending on the information available:

  • Form style

Allows you to enter, amend or view only one record at a time.

  • Grid style

Displays a table, where each row represents a record and each column a field. This style enables you to enter, amend or view all records at one time.

  • Combined form and grid style

A combination of the two. This allows you to select an existing row within a grid which then appears in the form area. You can also amend the data by updating it directly in the appropriate row/column.

Forms are designed to accommodate a great deal of information using a variety of features. See also:
