Migrating reports

To run reports in Report Manager (RMA), the reports must be migrated to the latest schema version. You must be a member of the Reporting Administrator group to use this function.

To migrate reports:

  1. From the Tools menu, select Migrate Reports
    A Confirmation Migration dialog is displayed asking if you want to migrate all reports.
  2. Select Yes.
    A progress bar is displayed showing the number of reports that have been processed and the number left to complete.
  3. Once all reports have been processed, a Migration Report is generated. This report lists all the migrated reports and displays whether the migration is successful or not.

    Migration information is also written to a log file saved to Report Store/Central Files/System Logs folders.

  4. For reports that fail migration, open, correct, and redeploy the reports in Report Designer.
