Unassigning a Business Unit from the Integration Configuration

Note: To avoid any conflict, we recommend you check that the system is not used by any other user, while you complete the steps to dissociate a business unit from an integration configuration.

If required, you can unassign a business unit from an integration configuration. This will dissociate the business unit from the integration, and no further SunSystems data will be published for that business unit:

  1. Select the required configuration name from the Integration Configuration Master List form. The business unit assigned to this configuration is also listed.
  2. Click Unassign to dissociate the business unit from the ION integration.
  3. A message is displayed requesting confirmation of the dissociation of the business unit code from the ION integration. Click Yes to confirm, or No to cancel.
  4. A message is displayed requesting permission to send Delete BODs, which will delete all data published by the business unit as part of the integration. Click Yes to send Delete BODs. If you click No, the business unit will be dissociated from the integration, but no Delete BODs will be sent.
Note: We recommend that Delete BODs are sent when dissociating a business unit from an integration configuration. If no Delete BODs are sent, then the copy of the SunSystems data retained by the integration system will become out-of-date.
  5. Click OK, then click Exit.
