Printing the Results of a Ledger Inquiry

When you have performed an inquiry to investigate particular transactions, you may want to print these transactions. The transactions you have extracted for the inquiry are held on a control desk. You can review or some or all of these transactions and print them on the Ledger Inquiry report.

There are two versions of this report: Ledger Inquiry by Account or Ledger Inquiry by Journal. The report produced depends on the type of inquiry you have run. Both reports print the main transaction details, for the selected transactions, including the transaction analysis codes. The only difference between the two reports is the sequence the fields and transactions are printed on the report.

  1. Highlight the transactions you want to print on the inquiry window. For example, if you have used Account Inquiry (ACQ) to view transactions, highlight the transactions on the Financials - Account Inquiry window.
  2. Click Review to list the transactions on the Control Desk In Tray.
  3. Select Ledger Inquiry as the Report Process and click OK to produce the report.
