Viewing activity logs

Activity logs capture processing information generated during the publication or consumption of SunSystems EDM BODs.

Information contained in the activity logs includes the date and time stamp for each processing activity, BOD status and any error messages generated. At least one record must be logged for a SunSystems EDM BOD, in order to create the activity log.

In the event of an error, the activity logs can be used for diagnosis. Once the error has been rectified, the SunSystems EDM BOD may be reprocessed from the activity log.

There are two types of activity log:

  • Enterprise Data Publication Activity Log (ELP)

This is generated during the publication of a SunSystems EDM BOD.

  • Enterprise Data Subscription Activity Log (ELS)

This is generated as a subscriber business unit receives and processes a SunSystems EDM BOD.
