Domains

After you register your domain name in CSSP, your organization’s IT department receives the verification token that they must store for the relevant domain. After your IT department has the token in place, you can manually complete the domain verification in CSSP.

After you finish domain verification, CSSP checks the verification automatically once per week. If the automatic verification fails, then CSSP performs these actions:

• Notifies your organization’s admin contacts regarding the failed verification.
• Runs the automatic verification every day for the next three days and notifies your organization’s admin contacts with a reminder every day. If the verification succeeds, CSSP sends a notification of the successful verification.
• After three days of failed verification, CSSP sends a final notification to your organization’s admin contacts and the domain status remains as Failed without any further action.
