Creating IP prefix lists

Users with the Admin role can define IP prefix lists, which are a list of IP address prefixes that can later be applied to an SFTP site so that only devices with the list's IP prefixes can access the SFTP site. This helps to enhance the security of an SFTP site. Each list represents a logical grouping of IP addresses, such as a particular AWS region.

As of the 2026.04 release, this feature is only available for the TAM application.

  1. In CSSP, go to the Settings menu.
  2. Click Add IP Prefix List and specify a name for the list. A menu to add IP address details to the list displays.
  3. Specify the IP address and CIDR block for the first IP address in the list.
  4. If additional IP addresses should be added to the list, click Add IP Prefix and specify the details for those IP addresses.
  5. Click Save.
