Adding IP prefix lists to an SFTP site

Users with the Admin role can add one or more IP Prefix lists to an SFTP site to limit the devices that can connect to the site. As a prerequisite, you must first define an IP Prefix list. See the "Creating IP Prefix Lists" topic for instructions on how to do that.

  1. Select Multi-Tenant > Environments.
  2. Choose the environment with the SFTP site to which you want to add the IP Prefix List and click the SFTP tab.
  3. Click Edit IP Prefix List. The Edit IP Prefix Lists menu displays.
  4. Choose the lists to associate to this environment. All the prefixes for these lists will be whitelisted for this environment, and any other IPs will not have access to the SFTP site.
  5. Click Save.
  6. If a change is made to one of the lists, such as adding or removing an IP prefix), click the Sync button, which will appear below the Edit IP Prefix List button. This is a necessary step, as CSSP itself does not store the IP Prefixes for an environment (those are managed in another secure system), so clicking Sync is crucial to update that system with the latest changes to a list.
You can change the lists by repeating steps 3-5.
