Configuring an OTEL connection

A user with the Admin role can configure a connection to your company OTEL provider for selected tenants

  1. Sign in to CSSP.
  2. Select Open Telemetry Configuration.
  3. Click Add Configuration.
  4. From the Tenant IDs menu, select required tenants.
  5. From Exporter Type list, select your OTEL provider.
  6. Specify details for your provider.
  7. Click Save.
  8. To test the connection, click Test and then check in your OTEL provider to see if the test log was sent successfully.
  9. Upon successful verification of the test, select the I acknowledge that I have received the test log checkbox, and click Submit to permanently establish the connection.
  10. Optionally, you can click View Action History to identify when configurations were updated, tests were performed, and configurations were submitted.
