Review packages

After a local package has been submitted for creation, the package's details can be observed by following the steps below. Reviewing packages is optional.

  1. Sign in to CSSP.
  2. Select Configuration Management > Local Packages. By default, the base local packages are shown, no version-specific rows.
  3. Click Show Package Base to change the view to either Show All Versions or Show Latest Version. Upon choosing one of these options, the Version column appears, and the rows are adjusted accordingly.
  4. Filter the displayed packages as needed based on Labels and Package Versions by using these options:
    1. To filter on specific versions:
      1. Click Show Package Base.
      2. Select Show All Versions.
      3. Click Filters.
      4. Click the Versions list.
      5. Select one of these options:
        1. All
        2. Latest version only
        3. Latest 5 versions
        4. Latest 10 versions
        5. Custom date range. Select a date range from a calendar.
    2. To filter by label:
      1. Click Filters.
      2. Click Add labels.
      3. Select the desired label from the list or search for the label and then select it. Repeat for additional labels.
      4. For each selected label, specify the desired value. Specify free text or select a pre-defined value based on the label’s Value Type.
    3. Click Apply to filter based on your specified criteria.
  5. Select the package to go to the Local Package Details page.
  6. Several tabs are available:
    1. From the Overview tab, you can review the package status and the last action for each application.
    2. Several options such as Package Name, Package Version, Create Package Request ID and more are listed.
    3. You can select these options:
      1. Resume. Click to retry failed package.
      2. Deploy Package. Click to deploy the package or launch a Compare-only request.
      3. Edit Details. Name and Description for packages which have not yet been deployed.
      4. Delete Package. Available if the package has not yet been deployed.
      5. Create Package Version. Launches the create package wizard.
    4. The Package Versions tab lists a grid of versions available for this package. Select Individual Package Versions to opening a Local Package Version Details page with tabs that let you customize the labels of the package version, view Version details, and view the selected Configuration Options.
    5. On the Labels tab you can add, remove or edit the value of labels associated with the latest version of the package.
    6. The Selected Configuration Options tab shows the resources associated with the latest version of the package.
  7. Click the Selected Configuration Options tab at the top of the page to see the selected configuration options for each application. If the package was created with tags, the names of the tags used to create the package are displayed.
