Refreshing an environment

CSSP provides the option to perform a data refresh for a customer environment. This functionality is not supported for all products. Some products cannot be refreshed from CSSP but can be performed on-demand by Infor operations staff. To learn more, check the data refresh section of your product’s user guide or go to Infor Concierge and create a support case to inquire if refresh is available for the product you are interested in.

An environment data refresh involves two environments. The source environment is the environment from which the data is copied. The target environment is the environment to which the data is copied. For most products, this involves replacing all data of the target environment with a copy of the data from the source tenant.

Data refresh is a very powerful operation which can erase all data from a tenant and may not always be reversible. Make sure you understand this and accept possible data loss before proceeding with a data refresh.

The refresh feature must be enabled by Infor staff for your organization. If the refresh option is not available, submit a case on Infor Concierge to request enablement of the CSSP refresh option for your organization.

Most refreshes can be made across regions, such as a data refresh from a US tenant to an EU tenant.

Some applications require lead time when scheduling a refresh, meaning that you cannot always schedule a refresh to run immediately. The required lead time varies by application and is usually less than a week.

You can schedule only one refresh per calendar month for each target environment. To schedule multiple refreshes in the same month, go to Infor Concierge and create a support case.

You can refresh the user GUIDs for an environment through the CloudSuite Refresh wizard.
