Changing an admin password

Certain Infor products, such as XM, have an admin password that is separate from Infor OS Portal Single Sign-On (SSO).

CSSP users with the Admin role can change admin passwords for environments that are not integrated with Infor OS Portal SSO.

  1. Select Multi-Tenant > Environments.
  2. Select the environment.
  3. Click the Admin Password Reset Requests tab.
  4. Click Create new request.
  5. In the Password Request dialog box specify the admin user name and password.
Note: You can click Generate Random Password to generate the password automatically. If you do use the Generate Random Password functionality, the password is not displayed on your screen. It is copied to the clipboard. You can paste it into any application you are using. Ensure you save the password.
  6. Click Submit. The request status is pending.
  7. Refresh the page to see the final status.
If the status is failed, repeat the admin password reset request. If it fails again, then go to Infor Concierge and create a support case.
