Delete a local package

Sometimes you need to delete a local package. For example, there may have been some error when creating the package and you do not want it to be deployed to any tenants. CSSP provides the option to delete a local package that has not yet been deployed to a target tenant.

This lets you remove unnecessary packages and prevent them from being deployed. It also lets you recreate a package with the same name. Once deleted, the deleted packages can be viewed by following the instructions in the "Show deleted local packages" topic in this guide.

  1. Sign in to CSSP.
  2. Select Configuration Management > Local Packages.
  3. Select the package to open the Local Package Details page.
  4. Click Delete Package.
  5. Click Yes when prompted to confirm.
  6. Click OK on the Success window.
