Create a local package with tags
Before completing these steps, you must create a tag and assign resources to it by following the instructions in the "Tags" section.
- Sign in to CSSP.
- Select .
- Click .
- Specify this information on the Select Source Tenant tab:
- Package Name
- Specify a name for the package.
- Description
- Optionally, specify a description for the package.
- Source Tenant
- Select the tenant from which the resources are to be exported, such as PRD or TRN.
- Click Select Export Option tab. to go to the
- Specify this information:
- Select Export Options:
- Select tags from the list.
- Selected Tags
- Select the check box for each tag that you want to use for your package. If you select more than one tag, the resources from the selected tags are combined in the package.
- Click Select Applications tab. to go to the
- Select the check box next to each application that you want to include in the package.
- Click Select Package Options tab.
Each application that you selected in the previous step has a tab labeled with the application's name.

information:
- Organization
- Select the organization from the list.
- Export Options
- The export options from the selected tags are automatically selected.
- Click Review and Submit tab. to go to the
- If there are any unselected dependencies, the Dependency Validation Messages dialog box displays. On this dialog box, tabs show for each application for which there are missing dependencies. Each tab has information about the missing dependencies. In most cases, we recommend you exit the wizard and add the missing dependencies to the Tag before recreating the package. However, if you are sure you do not need the missing dependencies, click to continue with the current resource selections.
- Verify the local package details and click to submit the package creation request.
- Click when prompted to confirm.
- Click Success window.
This triggers the local package creation flow. CSSP triggers API calls to the MT applications and the applications start creating the package in the background.
You can monitor package creation status from the Local Packages screen. During package creation the status is In Progress. When package creation is finished, the status changes to Success or Failure.
