Abort deployment

If needed, a local package deployment can be canceled. This updates the package deployment to an Aborted status and the resources will not be deployed to the target tenant. The deployment cannot be resumed once it is aborted.

Since only one package can be deployed to a target tenant at a time, if the Overall Status of a deployment is In Progress, you may want to abort it to allow for another package to be deployed to that same tenant. This would mainly be in cases when something unexpected happens during the deployment and you do not want it to conclude.

A package deployment can be canceled in these scenarios:

  • The deployment is at Stage 2 - Compare.
  • The deployment is at Stage 3 - Validate and one or more applications are in an EVALUATE status.
  • The deployment is at Stage 4 - Deploy and one or more applications are in an INPROGRESS or ERROR status. We recommend you check with Infor support before canceling a deployment at Stage 4 - Deploy, since canceling may result in a partial deployment. It is preferred to cancel a deployment in Stages 2 or 3.

  4. Select the current stage of the package deployment.
  5. Click Abort Deployment.
  6. Click Yes when prompted to confirm. The deployment is updated to an Aborted status.
