Remove failed applications from a tag

If one or more applications fail during tag creation, the Remove Failed Applications button appears on the Tag Details page. Clicking Remove Failed Applications removes any applications that failed during tag creation from the tag. The tag can then be used for package creation.

This does not remove applications from a tag that failed during the Lock, Unlock, or Delete tag actions. For applications that fail during those actions, use the Retry button or review the application-specific troubleshooting documentation if the issue persists.

  1. Sign in to CSSP.
  2. Select Configuration Management > Tags.
  3. Select the tag from the table. The tag must be in a Failure state, and in the Tag Details menu, one or more of the applications should have an Error status in the Last Tag Action Status column.
  4. Click Remove Failed Application(s). This removes any applications with an Error status in the Last Tag Action Status column, and the tag updates to a Success state.
