Local packages
A local package is a collection of resources for one or more applications that can be
exported from a source tenant and deployed to a target tenant.
You can create local packages in two different ways:
- You can use tags to identify the resources to be included.
- You can select the resource from each application manually.
After you create a local package, you deploy it to a target tenant to update the target’s existing resources using the information from the local package. Local packages are retained for six months after creation. After six months, local packages are automatically deleted.
