Overview

The Configuration Management functionality is comprised of two capabilities: Local packages and global packages. Global packages are currently in limited availability.

Use local packages in Infor CloudSuite Self-Service Portal (CSSP) and your Infor application to copy resources from one of your organization's tenants (for example, TST) to another (for example, PRD). The information exported from the source tenant is referred to as a local package. Local packages are specific to your company, so no other company can access the local packages that your company creates.

Global packages are created by Infor's content creation teams or designated partners and contain pre-bundled resources that can be imported to your organization’s tenants. For the 2024.10 release, global packages are only available to CloudSuite Industrial or CloudSuite Distribution customers.

Parts of the Configuration Management functionality are controlled within the Self-Service Portal, and parts are controlled within your specific Infor application. In CSSP, Configuration Management functionality is only available to Config Admin users.
