Updating an organization structure using drag-and-drop

You can use these steps to move an organization level or arrange the sorting.

Note: To move an organization part from one sublevel to another, ensure that there are no related records in the reporting matrix, target values, or actual values.

Additionally, you cannot move an Active level to an Inactive parent. Attempting to do so results in an error message. To proceed, deactivate the level first or activate the parent.

  1. On the SPE home page, select Administration > Organization.
  2. Drag and drop the organization to your preferred level. You can move the organization up or down a level or a sublevel. A confirmation message is displayed.
    1. You can use drag and drop to move the organization to your preferred level.
    2. To set the organization to a sublevel, you can drag and drop it to the correct sublevel position.
  3. To proceed with the update, click Yes.
  4. Optionally, click Cancel to stop the process.
