Updating a KPI formula

Updating the formula in the KPI automatically performs a recalculation on all actual values related to the KPI and other KPIs that depend on it.

  1. On the SPE home page, select Administration > KPIs and Metrics > KPIs.
  2. Select a KPI from the KPI list.
  3. Click Edit formula to open the Expression Builder.
  4. To update the formula, you can perform one of these steps:
    • To start updating formula from the beginning, click Clear and specify a new formula.
    • To remove incorrect formula elements, right-click the item in the Expression Builder and click Delete.
    • To add an element at the end of the formula, select an element and click +.
      Note: Do not link a KPI through a formula or to another KPI that depends on the KPI that you edit to avoid errors.
  5. Click Apply to close the window .
  6. Click Save.
