Updating the status of the metric structure

The metric structure is set to inactive by default. To use the metric structure on the strategy page or as a KPI input method, set its status to active.

Note: To update a metric structure, you must first set its status to inactive. Active metric structures cannot be edited to prevent unnecessary changes.
  1. On the SPE home page, select Administration > KPIs and Metrics > Metric Structures.
  2. Select a metric structure on the list view section and click the pencil icon to edit.
  3. Select Inactive from the Status field to disable the metric structure.
  4. Update the tree structure and properties.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Click the pencil icon to edit.
  7. Select Active from the Status field to enable the metric structure.
  8. Click Save.
    Note: Updating the metric structure tree and its details triggers a recalculation of KPIs that depend on the modified structure. You cannot edit a KPI with the input method set to Aggregate by metric structure while it is part of a tree structure. To update such a KPI, you must open the associated metric structure.
