Organization structure in SPE
The organizational structure is a fundamental concept in the application, as Key Performance Indicators and Metrics are defined with target values and actuals reported based on the organizational units and time periods. SPE enables full flexibility in defining the structure as a hierarchical tree.
The organizational structure is built manually by creating new units in the user interface, importing a data file from another system, or using Infor Data Fabric, which provides organizational data from the ERP system for analytical purposes.
The structure does not need to be defined as shown in the ERP system. Instead, the structure must be configured at the level where Key Performance Indicators are set, and metric data is reported. A common approach is to initially import data from Data Fabric and external files, then refine the structure manually within the application, disabling any units not included in the ESG initiatives.
