Importing a sample CSV file

  1. On the SPE home page, select Data Management > Data Mapping.
  2. On the list view of the Data Mapping tab, select the object for which the mapping is to be created.

    You can create one data mapping.

  3. Click + to create a new mapping.
  4. Specify this information:
    Name
    Specify a name for the mapping which must be different from other mapping names.
    Import type
    Select the import type Comma Separated Values (CSV).
    CSV File
    Select the folder icon in the CSV File field to display the File explorer window.
    Note: You must update the header names in the first row to import the CSV file successfully. You can import files with a maximum size of 10 MB.
  5. Select a target in the Target drop-down list in the Mapping section. Target columns must be mapped to a source to save the mapping.
  6. Click Save.
