You can create a data mapping for an organization and a period.

  3. Click + to create a new mapping.
  4. Specify a mapping name in the Name field. The name must be different from other mapping names.
  5. Select Compass Query from the Import type drop-down list.
  6. Click Create compass query to display the New Compass Query dialog box.
  7. Specify the query to use in the Query field.

    • If the query is correct and until the correct search results are displayed, review the results and validate them when necessary.
    • If the query is correct but requires input parameters, specify values for the parameters in the Input Parameters field. Click Run Query. Review the results and validate them when necessary.
    • If the query is incorrect and an error message is displayed, check your query and update to remove the cause of the error. After the update, click Run Query. Repeat until correct search results are displayed.
  9. Click Apply to save the query and to display the Mapping section.
Note: To save the query that is not yet updated, click Save. A red exclamation point indicates that you must configure the data mapping.
