Changing the import type for a data object

When you save a data mapping, you cannot change the import type. If required, perform these steps:

  1. On the SPE home page, select Data Management > Data Mapping.
  2. On the list view of the Data Mapping tab, select the name of the data mapping to update the import type.
  3. Click Delete to display the confirmation dialog box.
  4. Click Delete to delete the mapping.
  5. Select the name of the data mapping in the Data Mapping tab for which to create the new import type.
  6. Click + to create a new mapping.
  7. Specify the mapping name in the Name field.
  8. Select the new import type from the Import type field.
  9. Update the values in the Mapping section.
  10. Click Save.
