Defining cycle forecast settings

To define cycle forecast settings:

  1. Select Configuration > Cycle > Cycles.
  2. Click the appropriate Details icon.
  3. In the details pane, click Forecast Settings. The cycle's details are replaced with the Forecast Engine Settings pane.
  4. Click New and specify this information:
    Item Level

    Indicates the default item level for which the engine generates forecasts for the cycle. Select from:

    • All Items
    • Divisions
    • Groups
    • SKUs
    Location Level

    Indicates the default location level for which the engine generates forecasts for the cycle. The value is defaulted to the lowest level of the location hierarchy of the cycle module. The type of levels:

    • All Locations
    • Regions
    • Locations
    Default Code List

    Indicates the default code list to used for the BATS parameter settings, where a specific item and location override is not defined.

  5. On the Parameter Sets tab, add the parameter code lists available to the forecast engine for groups of items and/or locations, as required.
  6. On the Measure Mappings tab, specify the input parameters for the measures that are used for the forecast, as required.
  7. Click Submit.
