Context viewer

You can use the Context Viewer widget to view the Infor Business Content (IBC) messages that are being passed by the application. The IBC messages contain the screenIDs that are used to link the Smart Help content at the screen-level.

The Context Viewer is a context widget that is designed to help developers intercept and analyze the context messages that are sent from the applications. The Context Viewer shows the JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) messages that are sent in context from the application. They are displayed in two formats on tabs in the context widget: JSON Object View and JSON Text View.

For Smart Help, the JSON Object View is used to view the IBC messages, including the unique screenIDs and logicalIDs that are used to call from the application to Smart Help. The logical ID is used to identify the product and the screenIDs are unique strings that identify a specific page in that product.

Context Viewer

When the Context Viewer is enabled, the screen can be identified and used to troubleshoot or to upload your customized content to Smart Help.
